JCADA's Current Clinical Groups and Workshops
Below, please find a listing of JCADA’s current clinical groups and workshops. All groups and workshops take place on Zoom. For new clients, an initial assessment is required prior to joining. If interested, please email support@jcada.org and indicate which group(s) you are interested in.
Connection Café NEW
Weekly: Thursdays, 9:00–10:00 AM
Open, drop-in group focused on rebuilding trust and connection.
Workshop series NEW
Monthly: Third Thursday, 1:00–2:30 PM
Open, drop-in workshop focused on different topics each session, such as Co-parenting with an abuser, ambiguous grief, abuse is not a diagnosis, etc.
Resiliency Building Group
Weekly: Tuesdays, 12:00–1:00 PM | Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM
Open, drop-in group focused on learning and practicing tools for strength and resilience.
Healing Art Space
Weekly: Thursdays 1:00-2:00pm
Hands-on creative arts space. Participants can work from a given prompt or bring their own projects.
"Finding Your Voice: Creative Writing Group"
Weekly: Tuesdays 12:00-1:00
Wednesdays 2:00 - 3:00
Open, drop-in group focused on reading, writing, and discussing different texts. No prior experience required, and sharing is always optional.
Healing together: Coping skills training for survivors
Thursday, July 16th, 1:00 - 2:30 PM
Learn practical coping skills to manage stress, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience. This supportive workshop provides evidence-based tools to promote healing, emotional well-being, and confidence in everyday life.
Creative Courage Workshop
August 20th from 1-2:30 PM
Are you curious about how art forms can support healing? Join JCADA for a beginner-friendly, no art experience required workshop centered around creativity and resilience. This 90-minute workshop provides information on how expressive art can enhance our mental flexibility and help us tap into our internal strengths after adversity. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and try out short exercises (optional) to strengthen coping. This group emphasizes empowerment and creative courage rather than performance or skill. Any survivor is welcome and encouraged to join!

Yin Yoga Groups Paused
Yin Yoga is taking a pause for now. Please stay tuned for future mindfulness-based groups and offerings.
Immigrant Women’s Empowerment Group
On pause- will be offered based on participation interest
Closed group for immigrant women survivors of IPV to explore identity, strengths, and resilience.
Other groups, such as for Jewish Women, Moms, and LGBTQIA+ survivors may be offered based on participant interest. If you are interested or have another idea for a group, please email support@jcada.org.
